Smart South Island invites you to an information session about the South Island Prosperity Project's Open Innovation Challenge to be held Jan. 17. Mark your calendars.
The Open Innovation Challenge is open to NGOs, citizens and private businesses who want to compete for seed money to implement a pilot project. Top 10 finalists will present ideas on March 11 and compete for three $15,000 prizes.
Royal Roads faculty, students or combination teams are encouraged bring forward ideas related to a major regional challenge under one (or more) of the five themes:
- Housing and affordability
- Transportation and mobility
- Economic resiliency
- Environmental health
- Human health.
Proposals are due January 28, 2018.
